Distinction of IB2 Student in the 21^st International Space Olympics

Stylianos Rousoglou finished 8^th in the overall rank of the 2013 International Space Olympiad. In the competition, 120 academically accomplished participants from 7 countries around the world competed in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, and individual research presentations.

The presentation of his research work entitled ‘Space Weather and the Effects on Earth’, ranked 2^nd in the category of Astrophysics and was judged to be of exceptional quality.  In the written examinations, he ranked 1^st in Mathematics, 1^st in Physics, and 6^th in Computer Science.
