Distinction of IB2 Student in the 21st International Space Olympics

Stylianos Rousoglou finished 8th in the overall rank of the 2013 International Space Olympiad. In the competition, 120 academically accomplished participants from 7 countries around the world competed in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, and individual research presentations.

The presentation of his research work entitled ‘Space Weather and the Effects on Earth’, ranked 2nd in the category of Astrophysics and was judged to be of exceptional quality.  In the written examinations, he ranked 1st in Mathematics, 1st in Physics, and 6th in Computer Science.

Τι είναι Ποίηση;

Η ποίηση, αν και δεν διαβάζεται συχνά, είναι άκρως σημαντική για τον σύγχρονο κόσμο. Πολλοί την χαρακτηρίζουν ως πράξη εμπιστοσύνης και θεωρείται απαραίτητη για την πνευματική ικανοποίηση ενός ανθρώπου. Είναι «τροφή για σκέψη» και πιστεύω πως χωρίς την ποίηση κυριαρχεί η δυστυχία στη ζωή, καθώς γίνεται μονότονη.
