Eleni Svoronou, Head of Environmental Education with WWF Greece, visited our Kindergarten on Monday, October 4, 2021, for World Animal Day. Her visit was part of the “Speaker of the Month” series. Students from the Swordfish and Sea Bream classes learned more about endangered species as well as how their choices and actions can protect the environment, through a series of interactive games. Students also adopted a dolphin and a polar bear, through the WWF adoption scheme, which is helping them further develop their environmental awareness and sense of civic duty from a young age.
