Athens College Parents of Class 2023 launch a new initiative!

Athens College has a long and strong tradition of giving. Built brick by brick, student by student, through the collective generosity of generations of benefactors - parents, alumni, families, and friends - the College has always been about community and solidarity.

Parents of the graduating Class come together to fundraise for a Senior Class Legacy gift!

All of our students have benefited from private gifts. Thanks to our School's donors, our students get to enjoy state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge educational practices, have a broad selection of innovative co-curricular and community service programs, and learn from inspiring speakers. Thanks to our School's Scholarship Program, our families also have the privilege of not having their children miss out on the premier Athens College education due to financial struggles, including unexpected adversities in their lives.

The initiative is run by the Athens College and Psychico College & IB High School (Lyceum) Parents’ Associations, supported by the Athens College Parents Fund Drive. The aim of this initiative is to establish an annual basis for each graduating class and to transmit the ideals of solidarity and giving while laying the foundation for the establishment of the Senior Class Giving by graduating students.

Collective participation is the goal!

Inspired by our School's innovative First-Sixth Program, whereby sixth-grade students “adopt” and guide first-grade students, parents of the graduating Class are “adopting” an academically talented student with financial need in order to help make a difference in the student's life! This way, parents of the Class of 2023 are setting a legacy and an example for others to follow.

Gifts of all sizes add up! We value participation over gift amount.

Having supported our School's unique Scholarship program for years as donors and volunteers, it is now time to do one more significant act - for some, the last as parents of school-age children, thus honoring their children’s school years. It is an act of gratitude for the opportunity they themselves had to be able to offer their own children the life-changing Athens College experience. It is an act of recognition and continuation of the College family’s tradition of giving. By making a gift, they are shaping our School’s future and international standing, as well as helping future generations of students and parents to have the same opportunity. Participation is counted per student/family.

While the campaign is targeted at parents of the graduating Class, all members of the Athens College family can support this groundbreaking initiative.

Every gift empowers our students.
