In December 2022 and May 2023, John M. Carras Kindergarten participated in one of the school’s most important institutions, namely “Simple Meal”. This institution cultivates and instills the values of offering and helping those in need. Specifically, the kindergarten offered basic foods to “Saint John of the Holy Orthodox Metropolis” nursing home in Syros as well as the organization “Paidopolis - St. Andreas” in Alimos which belongs to the Attica Region Social Welfare Center. Kindergarten students also created and sent beautiful cards with heart-warming wishes to the people supported by these organizations.

We warmly thank the Pagidas Express transportation company for their kind contribution when transporting the supplies to Syros. We would also like to thank Ms. Domna Michaelidou, Athens College Alumni (2005), for her guidance and support in finding organizations.
