Athens College Elementary School - 4b celebrates and creates for our School's Centennial

Jun 12, 2025
Section 4b celebrated our School's Centennial with an artistic workshop that took them on a journey through time: honoring the past, reflecting on the present, and envisioning the future. Each student created their own octagon – the shape of our classrooms –  and together, they assembled a timeline filled with imagination and light. The present was symbolized with mirrors, inviting the audience to reflect personally and connect with the installation. More than a creative activity, the workshop became a shared experience of connection, memory, and vision. The event came to life through the inspiration and guidance of visual artist Caroline Rovithi, known for her powerful, symbolic work that blends art with social and cultural messages. With the heartfelt participation of the students, each octagon became a memory and each collaborative gesture renewed a sense of hope.
