Our Philosophy
Supporting children from their very first steps
The Psychoeducational Team is an integral part of the Kindergarten’s daily life, supporting every child's development. Psychologists, a speech therapist, and an occupational therapist work closely with educators, the Administration, and external specialists to create a stable framework of care, safety, and individualized support.
Observing, understanding, and providing early support
Through daily classroom and school-wide observations, as well as targeted screening procedures, the Psychoeducational Team monitors various aspects of each child’s development, including cognitive, social-emotional, and communication skills; speech and language development; executive functioning; and participation in everyday school activities. The primary goal is to gain a deeper understanding of each child and to create the conditions that support their development and meaningful participation in school life from an early stage.
Teachers and the Psychoeducational Team in close cooperation
The Psychoeducational Team works closely with teachers through both scheduled and as-needed consultation meetings. Together, they discuss emerging classroom needs, exchange observations, and explore ways to adapt the learning environment and teaching approach to support each child’s unique needs as effectively as possible. Through training sessions, they also cultivate a shared pedagogical approach centered on prevention, timely intervention, and individualized support.
When school and family move forward together
Partnership between school and family is essential to every child’s educational journey. Through consultation meetings, parent information sessions, group discussions, and training activities, members of the Psychoeducational Team foster a climate of communication and trust, enabling school and family to work together toward shared goals.
Building the foundations for tomorrow, from today
The Psychoeducational Team seeks to help every child gradually develop independence, self-confidence, and trust in their own abilities. Through systematic observation, timely support, multidisciplinary cooperation, and a strong partnership between school and family, we lay strong foundations for each child’s future growth.
