Elementary School Grades 1 - 2
Elementary School Grades 1 & 2 students will explore the world of experiments, mechanical constructions, automation, and robotics. They will be introduced to some of the most advanced educational robots and will learn to program them by writing code. Programming activities will focus on making robots move, rotate, produce sounds, but also on the use of sensors. Through experiments and mechanical or hydraulic constructions, students will develop their critical thinking and real-world problem solving skills. Some of the engineering activities and experiments are: building their own electrical circuits, constructing a hydraulic bridge, conducting chemistry experiments, and collaborating to move cars using magnets. The program is always adapted to the interests and skill levels of each group.

Elementary School Grades 3 - 4
Elementary School Grades 3 & 4 students, after becoming familiar with robots, will take on a project with each one. Working individually or in small groups, they will learn to code in order to guide their robots in outer space, the world of dinosaurs, and various countries around the world (of course, they are free to build any other world the group decides). The goal will be more complex, with obstacles they will have to overcome by programming their robot accordingly! The Elementary School Grades 3 & 4 group will also explore automations and how to program them, as well as experiments involving flow and balance, pressure and magnetism. The program is always adapted to the interests and skill levels of each group.

Elementary School Grades 5 - 6
Elementary School Grades 5 & 6 students will practice in writing code using age-appropriate robots. By working with a variety of robots, they will gain an understanding of different types of code, as well as the programming logic and algorithmic thinking required to make a robot function effectively. Experiments and makeshift mechanical constructions help the students develop problem-solving skills, self-confidence, but also the ability to manage failure constructively. The experiments focus on real-world questions, such as what happens to a car if it sinks in the sea, how we can build an electromagnetic train, which materials are needed to create a makeshift dancing robot. Students are also encouraged to bring their own questions to answer and solve in class through experiments. The program is always adapted to the interests and skill levels of each group.
