Elementary School Grades 1-6
Chess, often called "the game of kings", is rightly considered the most popular strategy board game. Through chess, children learn to think before they act, and come to know the benefits of observation and concentration.
Based on student registrations, lessons will be offered at various levels. Following a selection process, Competitive Chess teams will be formed for Athens College and Psychico College. Students selected for these Competitive Teams will have the opportunity to represent the School in interschool tournaments.
