A 10-hour virtual seminar for newly hired 2020-2021 Athens College faculty was held over the course of Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26.  The seminar was conducted in collaboration with the College of Education and Human Development of the University of Delaware as part of the support Athens College offers its teacher to perform at their best.

The speakers were:

The seminar, titled “Creating an Optimal Learning Environment through Engaging Lesson Planning and Strong Classroom Management,” had a workshop format and gave our new educators an opportunity to familiarize themselves with lesson planning, classroom management, and effective methodology for synchronous distance teaching.  The second part of the seminar will be held in January 2021.
