Marina Prapa (β6) competed with great success in the 1st phase of the Greek National Informatics Competition, which is mainly aimed at reinforcing students’ education in Informatics, under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs. 

The Competition is organized by the Greek Computer Society and is the national leg of the International Olympiad in Informatics which takes place every year under the auspices of UNESCO.

The Competition takes place in collaboration with the Departments of Computer Engineering and Computer Science, Electric Engineering and Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Telecommunications, and Applied Computer Science of Greek Universities, and of the Computer Science and Electronic Computer Systems Department of the Higher Technical Education Institutions.
