Ioanna Anastasopoulou, an IB Diploma Programme Year 1 student at Psychico College, was awarded 1st Prize in the Music category (Genius Music) at the Genius Olympiad Greece national competition (March 28, 2026).

Following this significant achievement, she will represent Greece at the Genius Olympiad (Global Environmental Issues and Us), to be held from June 8 to June 12, 2026, at St. John Fisher University in New York.

For the competition, Ioanna performed Mozart’s Fantasia in D Minor, K. 397, on the piano, linking the piece's musical content and structure to the urgent need for global environmental protection and sustainability in her artist statement.

At the same time, she achieved another notable distinction in the Blue Ocean Student Entrepreneur Competition (April 6, 2026). There, she presented “Arrow Sense,” an innovative Artificial Intelligence application designed to support and guide visually impaired archers without requiring human assistance.

Her proposal stood out, earning a place in the Top 1% (Top 250) among more than 23,000 submissions from 173 countries and over 9,000 schools worldwide.
