The first phase of the Interpretive Reading Competition, titled "20th-Century Greek Poetry Set to Music," was co-organized by Athens College High School and Psychico College High School, in collaboration with the Second Directorate of Secondary Education of Athens. The competition is open to students from all grades of General and Vocational High Schools in Attica.

A total of twenty-six (26) public and private schools and seventy-one (71) students from Attica honored the event by participating in the first phase of the competition.

The students who achieved the highest scores and will advance to the second phase of the competition, taking place tomorrow, Wednesday, March 4, 2026, are listed below in alphabetical order:
