Adoption of Agia Marina Beach in Porto Rafti

On Friday, March 13, 2026, the students of the Environmental Club of Athens College High School participated in a volunteer beach cleanup as part of this year’s Environmental Actions organized by the Club.

The initiative took place at Agia Marina Beach in Porto Rafti, which our School has “adopted” as part of the Marine Litter Monitoring Program coordinated by the Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association (HELMEPA).

The members of the Environmental Club enthusiastically participated in the activity, gaining firsthand awareness of the impacts of marine and coastal pollution. Through their efforts, they contributed to the improvement and protection of the environment, while also helping raise awareness within both the local and broader College community.
