Join us for an innovative program combining your special academic interests with advances in Artificial Intelligence. Learn how to use AI effectively and responsibly and become an active, ethical user of emerging technologies. This program is taught in English.

 

CHOOSE ONE workshop combining AI with:

For 13 – 15-year-olds                                                   

  • Ethics: “Introduction to AI and Ethics; the world to come” with Iordanis Papadopoulos (2 hours)  
  • Journalism: “Modern Television Journalism” with Nikos Politis (3 hours)                                  
  • Communication: “AI; Concepts, Capabilities and Responsibility” with Eleni Koutsoulafti (2 hours)                                             
  • Coding: “Next Level Game Coding with AI” with Katerina Katradi-Mexi (2 hours)
  • Biology: “Beyond the Microscope; the future of biology with AI”, with Katiana Georgouli (2 hours)

 

For 15 – 17-year-olds

  • Criminology: “FBI College Criminal Profiling” with Evangelos Haratsis (2 hours)
  • Coding: “AI Powered Games; code intelligence into play” with Vasilis Markos (2 hours)
  • Biology: “From DNA to Protein; a journey to the core of life” with Nikoletta Kyragianni (2 hours)

 

PLUS choose ONE of the following activities:

For 13 – 17-year-olds

  • Cooking: “AI in the Kitchen Lab; cooking, creativity and smart tech” with Anna Stefanidou (2 hours)
  • Athletics (basketball, volleyball, etc.) (1 or 2 hours)
  • Swimming (1 or 2 hours)
  • Dance (1 hour)

 

PLUS visits from distinguished guests (depending on the workshop you choose) from a robotics biofoundry, a Brain Computer Interface prosthetics company, an AI business solutions consultancy firm, a visit to a news studio and others.

Cost

€420 for two weeks

Registration

Registration opens after Easter and is completed via an online application form.

For Athens College students: Use the login credentials provided to you as parents of the School to sign in to Microsoft and complete the online registration form here (in Greek).

For external students: please email the Special Programs Secretariat at [email protected] to receive a username and password to complete the online registration form here (in Greek).


Cancellations

In writing to [email protected]

Cancellations made before the start of the Programs incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations made after the Program starts on Monday, June 22, 2026, incur a 100% cancellation fee.


Fee Payment

The HAEF Finance office will send you an electronic invoice with a unique payment reference number.


Practical Information

  • The Program activities start at 9:30 a.m., and we welcome children on campus from 9:00 onwards.
  • The Program ends at 1:30 p.m., at which time all children depart via private pickup.
  • Please report student absences to [email protected]
  • The workshops are held in the Alexandra Martinou Building.
  • On the Psychico campus, the CAPPS gate (13 Emmanouil Benaki Street, “John M. Carras Kindergarten”) is the closest entrance to the Alexandra Martinou Building.  The Main Gate (15 Stefanou Delta Street) is the closest entrance to the Sports Facilities.
  • Access to the campus is exclusively on foot.
  • ATTENTION: For participation in sports activities (Athletics, Swimming, and Dance), a recent Medical Certificate (using the attached form) must be submitted. The certificate must be completed and signed by a pediatrician for children up to 16 years of age, and by a general practitioner or cardiologist for children over 16.
