For each academic year, Athens College awards scholarships to students from various regions of Greece who will successfully take the first year of High School Entrance Examinations (Grade 10).
The scholarships cover 100% of the tuition fees, the cost of purchasing textbooks and the use of a school bus. In case the family is unable to accommodate the scholar in Athens and there is a documented need, an additional annual amount will be assessed to cover accommodation.
Application Requirements
The applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Distinction in the Entrance Examinations for the first year of High School (Grade 10)
- Documented financial need (submission of all required financial and other documentation to the Scholarship Office)
- "Exceptional" conduct (classification for Grades 7 & 8)
The 2026 Entrance Examinations for High School 1 (Grade 10) will be held on Saturday, March 21 2026 (9:00-13:00) on the School premises in Kantza.
For the participation of Regional Scholarship candidates in the Entrance Examinations, the College will cover the travel/residence expenses in Athens of students and of a chaperone.
