To celebrate World Maritime Day, students in Elementary School Grades 5 and 6 at Athens College explored the fascinating world of shipping through a special learning experience.

Ahead of the visit, the students discussed the topic in class with their teachers, shared their questions and thoughts, and sent them to Ms. Angeliki Frangou. During her interactive presentation, she answered their questions and introduced them to the world of seafaring, ships, and the people who work in the shipping industry.

The session helped students connect their classroom learning with the real world, spark their curiosity, and explore new interests and potential career paths. Ms. Angeliki Frangou led a truly exciting day of discovery!
