Students from Class 2c at Athens College Elementary School and Class 2f at Psychico College Elementary School participated in “The Chain of Friendship” initiative, which aims to foster friendship, kindness, and empathy.

Through creative activities such as “The Flower of Friendship,” in which children identified and recorded the qualities of a good friend, and “The Secret Friend,” in which they exchanged small acts of kindness, students had the opportunity to develop essential social skills and strengthen their bonds. As a culminating activity, the students created paper chains, writing words and actions that express friendship on each link.

In their meetings, the two classes painted together, enjoyed a picnic, presented their projects, and joined their individual chains to form one large, symbolic chain of friendship.

The event concluded with all students singing songs about friendship, sharing the message that friendship unites us and makes us stronger.
