On May 26, 2026, the Drama Club students presented a theatrical performance featuring selected monologues from the play "Monologues across the Aegean Sea." This program was first implemented in Greece in 2016 by the Hellenic Theatre/Drama & Education Network (TENet-Gr), in collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Through the performance, our students gave voice to the stories of unaccompanied refugee children who were forced to leave their homes in search of safety in a new country. With sensitivity and empathy, they brought to life experiences of hope, courage, and loss, reminding us that, despite our different journeys, the emotions that unite us are shared and can deeply move us all.

Congratulations to all the students and teachers of the English Department for their outstanding effort and for this moving performance, which powerfully highlighted the value of empathy and human dignity.
