On Thursday, May 21, we were delighted to welcome 24 students and 6 teachers from Garden House School in London. The visiting students, aged 9–11, were first given a tour of the Latseio campus by a delegation of Grade 5 student ambassadors.

They then joined art classes, where they created crafts together with Grade 3 students. In addition, Grade 4 French classes invited our guests to play pétanque and ping-pong, while also offering them the opportunity to visit the School’s vegetable garden with guidance from our agronomist.

The students enjoyed lunch in the dining hall and mingled with their peers during recess, bringing energy and joy to everyone through outdoor games and shared activities. They later attended Grade 4 English classes, where students from both schools exchanged presentations and discussed their schools, daily routines, hometowns, and local attractions.

At the same time, French teachers from both schools exchanged emails and agreed to launch a French pen pal program for the next school year, further strengthening communication and intercultural cooperation.

The exchange of ideas on educational topics and teaching practices between the visiting teachers and our English Department was particularly valuable. This visit provided students and teachers from both schools with an opportunity to share experiences, form new friendships, and deepen their intercultural awareness as global citizens.
