Psychico College Elementary School Grade 5 - Experiential excursion to Aegina
On Friday, May 15, 2026, Grade 5 students embarked on a day-long experiential excursion to Aegina, inspired by Georges Sari's book “The Treasure of Vaghia.” The students had the opportunity to visit the locations where the beloved story unfolds and to bring the adventures of the book’s characters to life through hands-on experiences. The first stop of the visit was the Temple of Aphaia, where, with the help of a tour guide and their teachers, the children traveled back to antiquity and learned about important aspects of the area’s history and culture. This was followed by lunch at a traditional local tavern, where students and teachers enjoyed a relaxing break.
The excursion continued with a visit to the Church of Saint Nektarios, and the day concluded with a stroll through the town’s picturesque streets and an ice cream by the sea.
