On April 27, our School’s English Department had the pleasure of hosting author S. A. Reyhani for a special event dedicated to literature and creative writing. The presentation was attended by Grade 5 and 6 students, who were transported to the magical world of storytelling and imagination.

Ms. Reyhani shared her passion for writing and creating imaginary worlds with the children, guiding them through the writing process step by step. She demonstrated how a simple idea can evolve into an exciting adventure and encouraged students to draw inspiration from everyday life, history, nature, and their favorite myths.

She made special mention of the experiences that inspired her first book, A Sequence of Cosmic Accidents, highlighting how creativity often begins with curiosity. The children who had already read the book had the opportunity to discuss the plot, the characters, and the themes of the story, actively participating in a lively and meaningful dialogue, while those who had brought their copy along had the chance to have it signed by the author, making the experience even more memorable.

Our young authors left the event excited, full of confidence, and ready to create their own imaginary worlds.

This meeting will remain unforgettable and surely serve as a source of inspiration for future creative pursuits!
