As part of the Student Initiatives under the slogan “Our students support students and their School,” for the 2025–2026 school year, the Student Community of Psychico College Elementary School is raising funds to meet the needs of developing the greenhouse, through the procurement of plants, seeds and cultivation supplies; watering and maintenance equipment; educational tools and observation materials; improvements and aesthetic upgrades to the space; and the development of new student activities related to cultivation and sustainability.

The goal of the Student Community is to provide hands-on “edutainment” (educational entertainment), promoting practical, interactive, and transdisciplinary learning—covering science, health, nutrition, the environment and agricultural practices, mathematics, the arts, technology, and language literacy—while fostering contact with nature through organized small-scale farming supported by technology.

“Our vision is for the greenhouse to serve as a model of experiential learning for the wider College community and, in the future, for the public, through educational visits and guided tours.”
