Guided by the iconic verses of Odysseas Elytis, the students of Class 4C celebrated World Poetry Day on March 21, 2026, transforming our School’s theater into a vibrant workshop of words.

The children discovered that poetry is not found only in books, but also in the way we choose to view the world around us. During the event, they engaged with works by great poets, experimented with rhythm and metaphor, and ultimately left their own creative mark.

They recited verses celebrating the rebirth of nature and used their imagination to illustrate the “springtime of their souls.”

This activity highlighted the power of language as a means of expression and collaboration, reminding us that—even in the face of difficulties—we all have the ability to “create” our own spring using the tools of art and creativity.
