To mark World Greek Language Day, class 5e of Psychico College Elementary School organized an interschool creative writing activity in collaboration with the 1st Elementary School of Athens, focusing on the collective creation of a story. The activity unfolded through successive stages of collaboration. Students first took part in online meetings to get to know each other and plan their work. A word-drawing then took place, with each school given some words it would use in the writing process. This was followed by a face-to-face meeting, during which students worked in mixed groups on creative-thinking tasks and explored the fundamental elements of storytelling. Through teamwork, idea-sharing, and joint plot development, the students contributed imaginatively to shaping the story. The activity concluded with the presentation of the final narrative and the recording of the story, highlighting the power of the Greek language as a means of expression, collaboration, and shared creation.
