Feb 11, 2026

Grade 2 students visited the school garden to plant seasonal crops and learn more about the natural world. The children actively participated in the planting process, worked together enthusiastically, and took on small responsibilities, experiencing the joy of cultivation.

During the activity, they discussed the plants and vegetables grown at this time of year, especially winter vegetables that are staples of the daily diet. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of consuming seasonal products, as choosing them helps protect the environment while also providing more nutritious, vitamin-rich foods.

Through this hands-on experience, the students understood the importance of farming, healthy eating, and responsible behavior toward the natural environment, while developing ecological awareness and cooperation skills.
