Athens College Elementary School - Playing board games on the theme of recycling electrical appliances
Jan 7, 2026
With the slogan "Recycling ON, Disposal OFF," the students of section 2f took action during the European Week for Waste Reduction 2025. They created their own board games focused on recycling electrical appliances, ensuring that this message was shared throughout the school community. As part of this initiative, on Monday, December 15, 2025, sections 2f and 4b met in the School's outdoor classroom. Under the guidance of their teachers, the students played the board games. Through experiential learning, play, and cooperation, the children gained a deeper understanding of the importance of recycling electrical appliances to protect the environment. At the same time, they strengthened their ecological awareness and experienced the joy of collaboration and learning in the School's natural environment.
