As part of the PYP year-long Transdisciplinary Unit "Seasons of the Year," Grade 1 students visited the olive grove at the Keratea Cultural Park. During the visit, they participated in an experiential educational program that taught them about the olive-harvesting process and explored traditional tasks and customs associated with the autumn season. This experience enabled the children to connect theoretical learning with practice and to discover the rich cultural heritage linked to olive cultivation.
