Scientific experiments with the Athens Polytechnic

The iGEM student group from the National Technical University of Athens (Athens Polytechnic) visited our School's Physics laboratories. The university students gave an engaging and informative presentation on microplastics and helped our students extract DNA from bananas.

Autumn vegetable garden

All Elementary School Grade 5 classes visited our School's vegetable garden. Guided by our agronomist, they learned about autumn vegetables: which varieties are planted in the fall, the ideal planting times, and when to expect them to bear fruit. Then every student had the chance to plant their own vegetables.
