The week began with a delightful surprise for Grade 6 students in the French Department. Ms. Papamichalopoulou, an English teacher at Psychico College Elementary School, took the class on a journey to her homeland, Canada. Speaking in French, one of Canada's official languages and the primary language of Quebec, she delivered a wonderful presentation to introduce students to this beautiful and distant country.

Students explored the capital's major landmarks, universities, and alleys, and were enchanted by Canada's snowy winters. They were especially fascinated by the subterranean city, an underground urban space used when temperatures drop too low. The presentation also included a look at traditional Canadian dishes, both sweet and savory. To wrap up the experience, students had the opportunity to ask Ms. Papamichalopoulou questions about her life in Canada.
