Athens College and Psychico College Elementary Schools, together with the "J.M. Carras" Kindergarten, received the Silver award in the category "International Collaborations in Private Primary Education" at the Education Leaders Awards for the 2024-2025 school year.

The three schools of the Hellenic-American Educational Foundation submitted a nomination for this year's Education Leaders Awards in recognition of their collaboration with the Boston Museum of Science. This year, for the first time, they implemented a pioneering pedagogical approach that integrates the innovative Engineering Design Process (EDP) —developed by the Boston Museum of Science— into the international Primary Years Programme (PYP) of the International Baccalaureate (IB).

The Education Leaders Awards, which have become a distinguished institution over the past decade, were held at the Ethniki Asfalistiki Conference Center on July 3, 2025.
