Psychico College Elementary School Grades 3 & 4 - Final celebrations
Elementary School Grade 3
Elementary School Grade 3 students presented the theatrical performance "Homer's Stories". The students, under the guidance of their teachers, brought different characters from the two Homeric epics to life, echoing the storytelling style of ancient bards. Their performance was met with warm applause.
Congratulations to the Grade 3 Counselors, Drama teachers, and Music teachers who supported the students.
Elementary School Grade 4
Elementary School Grade 4 students took to the stage to present performances inspired by ancient Greek drama. As part of the PYP's Interdisciplinary Unit on Culture, and in connection with their History lessons, students explored the role and enduring value of theater in antiquity. Through comedies by Aristophanes and tragedies by Sophocles, they were transported to the world of classical Athens, when theater was born as a platform for expression, learning and civic dialogue.
These performances were the culmination of a creative educational journey that brought together knowledge and experience.
