Mask-making Workshop for Psychico College Elementary School Students
Mar 27, 2024
In March, students in grades 1 to 4 created masks.
First Graders made their masks by folding and cutting black papers symmetrically, enriching them with white patterns and designs. Grade 2 students constructed cat masks by combining organic and geometric patterns and earthy colors. The pupils of Grade 3 transformed a pair of paper glasses into masks by enriching them with objects, faces, and situations from their imagination, while pupils of Grade 4, inspired by the shapes and rhythms of African Art, first painted and then made embossed masks with clay with strong expressions and animal-like features, which they enriched with rhythmic patterns.
