On Thursday, March 7, in the context of the yearlong interdisciplinary unit "How we organize ourselves" and with the central idea that people assume different roles in the communities to which they belong, Grade 2 students welcomed with enthusiasm the Mayor of Xolargos-Papagos, Mr. Aposotoloupos.

During the meeting in our School's theater, the mayor shared with the students his ideas for the future of the city and the important changes he intends to implement. Students asked questions, expressed their opinions, and asked for advice on how they can contribute to their community.

This visit reinforces the students' sense of involvement in the local community which was demonstrated by the smiles on their faces and their enthusiastic participation in the discussion.
