Valedictorian and Salutatorian are the highest honors awarded to graduating seniors of Athens College, Psychico College and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The title of Valedictorian is bestowed upon those who, in addition to their excellent academic performance, distinguished themselves for their ethos, multifaceted personality, and multifarious participation in College activities. The title of Salutatorian is conferred upon students who meet the same qualifications and rank second in their respective schools.

The Homer Davis Prize was established by the Athens College-Psychico College Alumni Association (SAKA).  It is awarded to graduating seniors who have demonstrated through their character and conduct that they have espoused and cultivated the spirit of service to the broader community that defines the College. They not only have distinguished themselves for their contributions and performance at School, but have also evinced their awareness of civic responsibility. Recipients of this prize must have maintained a Grade Point Average of at least 17.5 throughout all three High School grades.

The Alexander Petrellis Perry Prize was established in 1979, funded by a grant donated by Alexander Petrellis Perry, for graduating seniors renowned for their academic performance and promise, significant contributions to school life and exceptional character who are in need of financial assistance to begin their tertiary studies either in Greece or abroad. Awardees must have maintained a Grade Point Average of at least 17.5 throughout all three High School grades.

The Athletic Award, in memory of Michail Magkos, is granted to graduating seniors who have distinguished themselves for their athletic performance, in tandem with a spirit of generosity, teamwork and positive initiative, and who have embraced and championed the ideals of “fair play.”

The Ioannis Vakis Prize is awarded to the graduating student who demonstrated the best performance in Natural Sciences. This prize was established by the alumni of the class of 1939 graduates in memory of their classmate Ioannis Vakis, who, while serving his country as a member of the Allied Forces, was captured in the Greek mountains and imprisoned in a concentration camp in Germany, where he died in 1945.

The Parents’ Association Prize, established by the Athens College and Psychico College Parents’ Associations in 1994, is awarded to graduates of the previous academic year who were admitted with distinction to a Greek or foreign university. Furthermore, they must have excelled academically and displayed exemplary behavior during their years at the College. In the event that more than one student meets the criteria of the prize and the students’ qualifications are deemed equivalent, then the prize is awarded to two students.

The 25th March Prize is awarded to the winner of the March 25th Oratory Competition. Each year, 2nd Lyceum students are invited to write a speech in Greek on a specific topic related to the national holiday. Finalists deliver their speeches at a special event that takes place in the Theater and the winner is announced by a panel of judges, none of whom belongs to the College faculty association.  

The Three Hierarchs Prize is awarded to the winner if the Three Hierarchs Oratory Competition. Each year, 1st Lyceum students are invited to write a speech in Greek on a specific topic related to the teachings of these highly influential ecumenical bishops.  Finalists deliver their speeches at a special event that takes place in the Theater and the winner is announced by a panel of judges, none of whom belongs to the College faculty association.

The Dolasik Prize was established in memory of Theodosios G. Dolasik, an alumnus of the class of 1941, who was arrested during the Occupation and executed by Germans on August 28, 1944 while serving his country as a member of a British sabotage team. The prize is given to the 11th Grade High School student who achieved the highest grade point average over the course of 10th and 11th Grades.   In the event of a tie, two Dolasik Prize winners are proclaimed. The prize is awarded during the Commencement Ceremony. 

The award is accorded to students graduating from Athens College Junior High School who, in addition to their excellent academic performance, have distinguished themselves primarily for their ethos, their multifaceted personality and multifarious participation in School activities.

The award is accorded to students graduating from Psychico College Junior High School who, in addition to their excellent academic performance, have distinguished themselves primarily for their ethos, their multifaceted personality and multifarious participation in School activities.

The Merit Awards are granted to 3rd Gymnasium and 2nd Lyceum students. The criteria for selection are their cumulative grades of the past two years, as well as their overall ethos and conduct. Each year, four awards are given, one to a student of each school division of Athens College and Psychico College. Each of the students also receives a monetary prize of  €1.000 that is applied to their tuition fees.

Reviving an old College tradition, dating back to the time of President Homer Davis, at the end of each academic year, the President’s List is compiled acknowledging Junior High School, High School and IB DP students’ high academic performance. Included in this honorary are students who rank in the top 5% of their class based on their cumulative GPA and whose behavior is above reproach.
