Fifteen student-representatives of Psychico College High School’s Young Entrepreneurs Club – specifically, N.Giannoutsou, N.Gkoliopoulo, Α. Karka, I. Ladopoulou, A. Marino, D. Mathiou, Th. Messinezi, A.S. Mitropoulo, M. Mpoltsi, E. Panagiotopoulo, M.Th. Papa, N. Pourpoutidi, A. Samakouti, K.A. Stavropoulou and A. Tsaoutou – took part in “Trade Fair 2014”, an event organized each year by Junior Achievement – Young Enterprise  (JA-YE Europe).

This year, the Club’s members founded a virtual company named “DCS” (Diabetes Control System), designed to address juvenile diabetes.  On the company’s site, the user enters his personal medical readings over a period of 3-5 months.  Through various simulations and instructions to the user regarding diet and the appropriate insulin units to be taken, the program is able to achieve the best possible monitoring and regulation of blood glucose levels.

“Trade Fair 2014” took place on February 21, 2014 at “THE MALL.” Among the 51 virtual companies that participated in the Fair, Psychico College High School’s Young Entrepreneurs Club won the Commendation for Medical Innovation.
