Distance Counseling by School Psychologists

Dear Parents,

As of Thursday, February 11, 2021 our School Psychologists will be providing distance counseling (in their respective school unit)  to students who want to avail themselves of the service and whose parents consent.

Remote counseling

·     will be tailored to the student (whose parents have submitted the request/consent)

·     will take place at a specific time that the Psychologist and student agree upon

·     will observe the same rules of confidentiality that the Counseling Department conducts itself with during in-person student counseling.

Respectively, the student must follow the same rules as those when he/she is physically present in School.

With regard, in particular, to the processing of personal data, it is based on your express consent for distance counseling and will be in accordance with the rules and security measures described in the privacy notice you received for distance learning and posted on the School’s website:

https://www.athenscollege.edu.gr/docs/default-source/portal-files/haef-privacy-notice-teams_update.pdf?sfvrsn=f7b298ba_13

In order of students to receive counseling, you must
1. Contact the relevant Psychologist by email:

o   Panagiotis Siaperas, [email protected] (responsible for students in odd numbered sections)

o   Eleni Halkia, [email protected] (responsible for students in even numbered sections)

2. Fill out the consent form (attached) and email it to the relevant Psychologist.

Once the above steps have been completed, the relevant School Psychologist will send an email with the date and time of the appointment.

Thank you for your cooperation
