In his capacity as Professor of Natural Disasters and Chairman of the Special Committee on Climate Change, Athens College President, Dr. Costas Synolakis ΄75, Academician, will spoke to broadcast journalist  Vicky Flessa on ERT2’s program “STA AKRA” (“In the Extreme”).

Professor of Atmospheric Physics, Dr. Christos Zerefos, Academician and General Secretary of the Academy of Athens, joined Prof. Synolakis in the interview.

The two Academicians spoke on the vital issue of climate change and whether climate affects the course of history. 

The show was filmed at the at the Academy of Athens. 
The interview was broadcast in two parts that aired on the 17th and 24th of February at 8:00 p.m.
