Entrance Examinations - Scholarships for academic year 2026-2027

On Saturday, March 21, 2026, (09:00 - 13:30), Athens College will hold written exams for the admission of students to Grade 4, Grade 7 (Junior High School 1), Grade 10 (High School 1) and the first year of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for academic year 2026-2027 at the Bodossakeion Building in Kantza.

Junior High - High School

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme

For academic year 2026-2027, Athens College will offer:

For the first year of Junior High School (Grade 7)

  • the possibility of full or partial financial support to the first eighty (80) students who will be admitted through Entrance Exams based on their family's financial situation and specific criteria of the Financial Support Scholarship Program. 
  • Up to ten (10) Merit Scholarships to students who will excel in the Entrance Exams, regardless of financial status: two (2) scholarships covering 100% of the tuition fees, and eight (8) scholarships covering 25% of the tuition fees.

For the first year of High School (Grade 10)

  • the possibility of full or partial financial support to the first fifteen (15) students who will be admitted through Entrance Exams based on their family's financial situation. 
  • Up to five (5) Merit Scholarships to students who will excel in the Entrance Exams, regardless of financial status: one (1) scholarship covering 100% of tuition fees, and four (4) scholarships covering 25% of tuition fees.

Since the beginning of Athens College in 1925, the Scholarship Program has been a cornerstone of the pedagogical - social philosophy of the School and a fundamental element of its unique “character”. The aim of the Program is to offer the opportunity to deserving children to study at the College, whatever the financial situation of their families may be. For academic year 2025-2026, the College has allocated more than €3,800,000 for scholarships.

All scholarships will continue to be awarded to Junior High and High School students, respectively, provided that the criteria under which they were awarded continue to be met. More specifically:
