Admission into Grade 4 of Athens College or Psychico College Elementary School upon availability is through Written Exams in Greek Language, Mathematics and English Language.

For academic year 2027-2028, Admissions Examinations will be held on Saturday, March 20 2027 (9.00-13.30), at the Bodosakeio Building, Kantza.

The Students Admissions Office will be accepting online applications from Monday, 16 November 2026, to Friday, 26 February 2027.

Following the online application and in order to complete the registration process parents should:

• Complete the online form with the terms for the examinations they will receive through e-mail by the Student Admissions Office.
• Send a recent photograph of the candidate in jpeg format for the “PARTICIPATION FORM”, that candidates must have with them on the day of the examination.
• Deposit €120 to a HAEF bank account.

Terms of the examination

Subjects tested are:

• Greek Language
• Mathematics
• English Language

Each of the three 60-minute tests (Greek, Mathematics, English) will be graded on a scale of 100 points, with 50 points considered the lowest passing score. 

Students who do not achieve a passing score (50 points) in either of the aforementioned disciplines are excluded from admission.

Students will be admitted strictly on ranking, based on the cumulative score achieved in the Greek, Mathematics and English tests. 

Final scores will be announced to parents in writing through e-mail and no appeal for test retaking or review will be considered. No copies of the candidates' written tests will be issued. 

The Administration will place successful candidates into the two schools of the Hellenic-American Educational Foundation (Athens College or Psychico College) pursuant to availability of spaces in each of the schools. In so doing, priority is given to siblings of students who currently attend Athens College or Psychico College.

Please note that candidates who wish to enroll and attend Athens College are required to be have completed all the prescribed vaccinations according to the Greek National Vaccination Committee and the National Vaccination Program.

Info sessions for HAEF Elementary Schools

Group tours and info sessions about the program of the Elementary school are scheduled on specific days and times during the course of the school year, by the Principals of the Elementary Schools of the Hellenic-American Educational Foundation (Vily Pavlou -Athens College Elementary School and Dimitra Panagouli -Psychico College Elementary School.

To attend the information sessions, it is necessary to register in advance by e-mailing the Student Admissions Office ([email protected]) in order to receive the corresponding entry code.
