Applying to 1st Grade of Elementary School
Athens College accepts applications for student enrollment in Grade 1 of the Hellenic-American Educational Foundation’s Elementary Schools (Athens College-Psychico College) from the day of their birth up through December of the year the candidate is enrolled in Kindergarten.
In accordance with School policy, to enroll in Grade 1 of HAEF Elementary Schools students must participate in a lottery process. Two separate lotteries are held: a General Lottery and an Alumni Lottery.
To participate in the process, parents must deposit 60€ to a HAEF bank account and must complete the application form they will receive by the Student Admissions Office.

For the distribution of students into the HAEF Elementary Schools, parents will be asked to state (in writing) the school of their preference. The final distribution will be carried out by the Administration, depending on available places in each school. To participate in the enrollment process, candidates must successfully pass the Elementary readiness test administered by the School's Psychoeducational Department.
Please note that candidates who wish to enroll and attend Athens College are required to be have completed all the prescribed vaccinations according to the Greek National Vaccination Committee and the National Vaccination Program.
Group tours and info sessions about the program of the Elementary school are scheduled on specific days and times during the course of the school year.
