Celebrating the European Day of Languages:

A bridge between cultures at our School

Junior High School Grade 1 students at Psychico College marked the European Day of Languages on September 26 with a special creative project initiated by the French, German, and Spanish Departments. Drawing on their imagination and team spirit, they filled the school hallways with messages celebrating shared human values in languages from across Europe.

The students created handmade cards featuring words such as “peace”, “respect”, “friendship”, and “communication” in Greek and other European languages. They then used the cards to decorate different areas of the School, transforming them into a vibrant mosaic of cultures.

Through this collaborative and creative project, students explored Europe’s linguistic diversity and discovered that shared human values transcend language barriers. Their initiative sent a powerful message of hope and unity throughout the school community.
