Dimitrios-Nektarios Ieromonachos, a Junior High School Grade 1 student at Athens College, competed with great success in the 35th Attica Individual Student Chess Championship, held on Sunday, March 29, in Piraeus.

The student placed 3rd and won the bronze medal, thereby securing his qualification for the Panhellenic Championship, which will be held in Thessaloniki this year.

Dimitrios-Nektarios Ieromonachos is a member of the Athens College Chess Club and trains regularly at the Piraeus Chess Club.
