On Tuesday, September 23, the Physics Thinking Club had the pleasure and honor of welcoming back one of our former students, Stavros Klaoudatos. Now studying at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in the United States, Stavros is an exceptionally charismatic young scientist who, through perseverance and talent, has had the opportunity to converse and collaborate with leading physicists and Nobel laureates in his quest to understand the secrets of the universe.

Students and teachers were captivated by his presentation, titled "From Particles to the Universe: Physics," in which he emphasized the importance of Physics, through topics such as dimensional analysis, symmetries, emergence, and reductionism. He illustrated these concepts with examples that connected scientific reasoning to a deeper understanding of nature.

The event was a source of inspiration for the student community, demonstrating how dedication and a passion for knowledge can open doors to the highest levels of academic achievement.
