Psychico College Junior High School student participates in the Xanthi Puzzle Festival

Due to her talent in Mathematics, Elisso Asimakopoulou, a Psychico College Junior High School Grade 2 student, was invited to participate in the event "The unsolved puzzle of the Old Town", during the 2025 Puzzle Festival, held in Xanthi from April 4 to 6, 2025.
The Puzzle Festival aims to foster thinking, creativity, research, and inquiry. Its success is due to the uniqueness of its subject, puzzles, which are celebrated through scientific events, workshops, experiments, lectures, and artistic performances. The festival is enhanced with the participation of leading academics, researchers, educators, and artists, who support the organizers' vision voluntarily.
It is a national-level festival of high academic and educational status, as well as a grand celebration of science, sharing knowledge and joy with the people of Xanthi, a town near the borders, but also students and educators from neighboring towns and Athens.
A series of innovative educational events were held during the festival, aiming to honor Dr. Stamatios Krimigis, astrophysicist, space scientist, and pioneer researcher, who has participated in major US and NASA space programs (including Voyager I).
