MUN (Model United Nations) is an educational programme that develops students' skills in international politics, diplomacy, and negotiation. Students participating in it take on the role of diplomats representing different countries in formal meetings, simulating UN meetings. On November 11 - 12, 2023, our students, under the guidance of teachers Eleni Golemi, Dimitris Kokoroskou, and Maria Marinos, participated in the Logos MUN Conference, which took place at Moraitis School.

The activities of the conference included:

• Preparation and Research: Students prepared thoroughly for the conference by researching the issues discussed in their session in order to understand the political, historical aspects and attitudes of the country they represented.
• Participation in Committees: During the sessions, students actively participated in committees that simulate UN structures such as the General Council, Security Council, and other committees dealing with various issues.
• Negotiations and Drafting Activity: Students represented the views of their countries by participating in negotiations and developing drafting activity to create resolutions. They also proposed solutions to the problems discussed.
• Public Speeches: Students made public speeches to express their countries' positions and persuade other countries to support their proposals.
• Education and Networking: Participation in MUN gave students the opportunity in education and networking as they came in contact with other young people from different regions.

Through the above activities, students acquired skills such as public speaking, negotiation, research and cooperation, deepening their understanding of global political and social issues.
