30 College students competed with great success in the Deree Invitational LXIV debate tournament, which took place on November 18-19, with the participation of 52 school and university debate teams in total.

Novice Champions: Ioulia Zaglaniki (HS1, AC) &  Marios Bagakis-Valatsos (IB1)

Open Finalists: Leonidas Marinopoulos (ΙΒ1) & Maximos Papaioannides (ΙΒ1)

Open Semifinalists:

Clio Tzoannou (HS3, PC) & Eftychia Christodoulou (IB2)

Manos Alevras (ΙΒ1) & Leonidas Tsaousis (HS3, PC)

Novice Finalists: Maria Petrolia (JH3, AC) &  Panagiota Dourida (JH3, PC)

Our students achieved great results on an individual level too, with L. Marinopoulos ranking as the 3rd speaker overall in the competition, M. Alevras and L. Tsaousis tied in 4th place, M. Papaioannides ranking 6th, and Kyriakos Gerogiannis (IB1) with E. Christodoulou tied in 8th place.

In the novice speaker ranking, P. Dourida ranked 2nd, Μ. Bagakis-Valatsos ranked 3rd, Afrodite Chrissochoides (HS1, AC) ranked in 4th place, and M. Petrolia in 7th place.
