Junior High students accompanied by their teachers Ms. D. Spyropoulou and Ms. V. Baxopoulou visited the Sea Turtle Rescue Centre “Archelon” on Saturday, May 14, 2022. The center focuses on the systemic tracking and research of sea turtles, the rescue of injured and ailing turtles and raising awareness with the broader public.  

The students and their teachers toured the rescue center, and visited injured turtles. They attended a presentation explaining how turtles are born, how they live and detailing the rescue process. At the end of the visit, the students assisted with the cleaning of the marina’s seafront.
