To celebrate Pi (“π”) Day, observed on March 14 (else 3/14, which is the way American’s write the date and which also symbolizes the first three significant digits of π), Athens College Junior High School students who are members of the Mathematical Thinking Club attended a speech by Maths teacher, Mr. Tefkros Michailidis, on “The mysterious, known – unknown number π.”
