2nd World Cultural Heritage Youth Symposium in Ancient Olympia

The 2nd Annual World Cultural Heritage Youth Symposium was held in Ancient Olympia from April 11 to 14, 2019.

The 2nd Annual World Cultural Heritage Youth Symposium was held in Ancient Olympia from April 11 to 14, 2019. Psychico College Junior High School, along with teachers and students from 14 nations, attended.  The students’ main presentations on cultural heritage were held at the International Olympic Academy, followed by visits to the Archaeological Museum of Olympia, the Archimedes Museum, and workshops in which students involved in tourism and the promotion of Greece abroad took part.

  
 

During the Symposium, students had an opportunity to meet young people from other nations and to exchange views and experiences.

The Symposium was held under the auspices of the Greek National Committee for UNESCO and the Municipality of Ancient Olympia and in full compliance with the Sustainable Development Objectives as set forth in the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
